The Refuge for Wildlife has been a place for injured, displaced and orphaned wildlife from Nosara and the Peninsula region of Costa Rica for nearly 20 years. This non-profit organization continues to provide relief thanks to the thoughtful donations from visitors. Enjoy a visit to learn more about the animals that live in the area and how the Refuge safes wildlife.
  • When: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 am. Must reserve in advance.
  • Duration: Two-three hours (approximately).
  • Participants: Minimum 2 persons, 6 years or older.
  • What to bring: Tennis shoes or sandals, hat (if desired), comfortable clothes, bug repellent, water bottle and camera.
  • Includes: Tour. Transportation to the Refuge is NOT included.
